Finished in time for the Fourth

It’s complete and just in time for the Fourth of July–a modern Americana baby quilt using leftover fabric scraps and a little geometric imagination.

The quilt top is made of scraps leftover from other SewSew projects as well as scraps from a local quilt store ($5 for a bag full!) The only items purchased were the backing fabric, a sweet ecru mini floral print, and the binding fabric, a country blue with mini white florals.

Machine quilted using stitch-in-the-ditch style, I prefer to hand sew the binding on using a blind stitch. Seamless.
