It’s Been a While

I’m not a fan of blog posts that start off with how long it’s been since the last post. So, let’s just not go there. What I will say is that in the time between posts, I had and beat cancer, brought home our darling girl from halfway around the world, sold our beloved home and moved, jumped back into a full-time office environment, and learned to embrace and celebrate my family’s many special needs.

Those special needs I mentioned above–those are a big part of why I’m excited to get back into Sew Sew. As the saying goes, necessity gives way to invention, but in my case, it has been more out of desperation than anything else.

In the next week, I’ll be launching a new Sew Sew product specifically for sensory-special kiddos. In the meantime, here are a few pictures of Sew Sew projects I completed between posts.

Handmade felt and driftwood mobile. Custom embroidery name.

Upcycled Gator T-shirt quilt

Triangle custom baby quilt in soft pinks, olive green, gray polka dots, and white eyelet.

Custom baby quilt for a puppy nursery

Custom freestyle and free motion baby quilt for a first granddaughter and book-loving grandpa.
